Status: Part Time 25-29 hours a week

General Functions:

The Administrative support for weekend ministry needs, church calendar, room management, and events. Coordinating weekend counting, training volunteers and managing the ROCK data management system.

Supervision Received:

Reports directly to the Life Development Pastor at Torrey Pines Church. Employee seeks authorization for broad scope of tasks.

Scope & Dimensions:

Interacts with all staff and volunteers to bring excellence and dependable programs, ministry efforts and equipping for tasks assigned.

Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership: recruit and lead volunteers for ministry teams and work alongside the leaders in order to build quality ministry teams.
  2. Administrative support for the Growth Groups ministry.
  3. Oversee the care of the Facility.
  4. Use the ROCK for tracking and updating all data with regard to Torrey Pines Church

Experience And Educational Requirements:

  1. Must have experience with data entry, internet communications & be skilled with organization.
  2. Two years experience in related environment.

Additional Responsibilities:

  1. Additional duties as assigned.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:

  1. Mobile – In and out of office to ensure task completion
  2. Overtime hours as required by ministry needs
  3. Church staff is required to abide by the Cultural Expectations (tithe, attendance, conduct, etc.)

  • As a staff person at EastLake Community Church, I agree to abide by all the provisions of the Employee Handbook.
  • The Church reserves the right, at any time, with or without notice, to alter or change job responsibilities, reassign or transfer job positions, or assign additional job responsibilities.
  • This position is classified by the Church as a PART TIME paid position and is EXEMPT from the overtime provisions, as stated in Employee Handbook.
